2026-06-05: Lea Gyger successfully defended her PhD thesis

We are happy to share that Lea Gyger, Early Career Professional at SERC, has successfully defended her PhD thesis titled 'Advancing Subsurface Imaging for Mineral Exploration Through Broadband Acquisition, Surface DAS, and SWD in Blötberget, Sweden'!

Lea's work represents an important contribution to geophysical methods for mineral exploration and subsurface imaging in hardrock environments.

Lea's thesis is published open-access and is available for download here.
Her PhD work was supervised by SERC Director Alireza Malehmir (Uppsala University), and co-supervised by Ayse Kaslilar (Uppsala University).
